a winter poem by Christina Rossetti

Christina Rossetti is one of my favorite poets.  I'm quite fascinated by the art and poetry that came out of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood that her brothers, Michael and Dante Gabriel, began.

Dimmest and brightest month am I;
   My short days end, my lengthening days begin;
What matters more or less sun in the sky,
   When all is sun within?

~ Christina Rossetti
